The Northern Mist

These three initial character concepts have been created for Cohort Pictures short movie The Northern Mist. The story follows a lost Roman Legion as they uncover a mystical and horrific British cult in northern Briton. The designs were made intentionally gritty by introducing textures made from real mud and dirt into the illustrations and by retaining stroke weights from the shading in Copic markers.
